Youth group provides a special opportunity for all of the Latrobe Valleys youth and young at heart to join in fellowship together in special activities that are held throughout the year. Each year there is a formal dinner held with a guest speaker/evangelist to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and encourage all people present, Christian or otherwise, in their ability to come to know God and serve Him mightily in their lives through faith.

The formal dinners also feature lots and lots of fun and dancing and are always successful in bringing people closer together in friendship and in their journey of faith.
There are also special youth services held throughout the year which are designed to allow the young people of the valley to worship God and have a time of prayer and worship specially as a group of young people together for the Lord. These services often bring the young people from many churches around the valley together, and therefore also serve to form closer relationships between the different churches of Jesus Christ around the valley. They also provide an important opportunity for the youth of the church to reach out to their friends at school or from other areas of life and to bring them along to experience the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ - and to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ preached.
Last year we saw our youth grow and build stronger ties and relationships with each other and also with young people from other groups. Last year also brought many challenges and much joy. We had another formal dinner last year to which we invited not only our own youth but the youth of the valley. This event was a great success and we would like to thank all those from the church who helped to make this event the success it was.
We have also started Youth Church once a month which has also been quite successful. Youth Church is open to young people of the valley who can join together with us for worship, fellowship and ministry. We will be having Youth church in various churches in the valley, to encourage relationship building between youth groups.
I would like to thank those who have supported us and opened their homes to us throughout the past year. I would also like to say a special 'thank you' to Andrew and Robyn Beard, who have opened their home and led the youth home group this year.
