Community Giveaway

Valley Christian Centre last year held the first of what is to be an annual event: a community giveaway. This giveaway allows all of the church members and others in the community who want to help others to give freely of themselves to help the people in the community who have financial and material needs that they find difficult to meet. At the giveaway there are also special activities for children, and the event is held as friendly family day for all, with tractor rides for children, merry-go-rounds, free barbecue and drinks supplied on the day.

Such items as food, furniture, electrical appliances, clothing, books, toys, shoes, suits, teddy bears, and much more are given away free of charge and indiscriminately to all people in the community who have a need for them. Our giveaway is usually held in late November/Early December so that people who have a need for Christmas presents can obtain them in time.
